Pharmacy Colleges in Kerala | Pharmacy Colleges in Thrissur - St James
Welcome to the Career Services section of St. Jame's Pharmacy College
Each year of college will present opportunities to get closer to accomplishing work you'll enjoy. Depending on your interests, experiences, and motivation level, the process of career discovery differs. One-on-one counseling, programs for academic and career-related interests, and opportunities to attend professional conferences and participate in summer activities are all available at St James Pharmacy.
The most important thing you can take away from this website is the realization that you are in charge of your professional development. The Professional Services staff, as well as the rest of the St Jame's community, are here to answer your questions, facilitate your professional education, connect you with career mentors, and help you make the most of your St Jame's education, but you must take action. Let's get this celebration started, shall we?
Courses for Advanced Placement
Throughout the year, the St Jame's College of Pharmacy hosts a variety of activities, including Advanced Placement, to help students find practise opportunities after graduation. Students are introduced to a number of professional opportunities through the college's Foundations of Professional Development (FPD) course series, including post-graduate education and training alternatives such as graduate degree options, residencies, and fellowships. Throughout the year, career activities such as residency showcases, simulated interviews, CV writing workshops, career fairs, and onsite interviews are held in collaboration with the college's student professional organisations.
The College provides a Senior Interview Day in the autumn semester for graduating seniors looking for professional practice options. Prior to the event, students are given information about open positions with local, state, and national pharmacy employers, as well as the opportunity to sign up for interviews with these companies. At least 60% of graduating seniors participate in Senior Interview Day, and many of them are successful in landing jobs as a consequence of their interviews. Students who do not participate in this event look for work elsewhere following graduation. Students interested in residency and/or graduate programs apply directly to these programs outside of the Senior Interview Day.
We have a dedicated Career Services Office that works with students, alumni, and employers on all aspects of career management.
